Is it God’s will for you to suffer? If you suffer from sickness and disease, are you suffering for God? Is God trying to teach you something through suffering? These are questions that many people get tangled up in. It’s time we know the will of God concerning suffering! There is a doctrine of suffering in the Bible, but what does it contain? Why are we suffering and what are we suffering for? As a part of our summer series, Summer of Spiritual Growth, we will tackle and answer these questions and more as Pastor Keith teaches us what Biblical suffering is all about.
Life is full of twists and turns, and we are constantly faced with decisions that can either move us further into the will of God for our lives or farther away from it. Join us as our summer series continues and Pastor keith teaches us how to walk in the Spirit and put our flesh under.
God wants to establish himself in your life. In order to begin spiritual growth you must empty yourself so that God can fill you up. You are a vessel, it doesn't matter what type of vessel you are, God can clean you up, fill you with his purpose, and grow you more than you could ever imagine.
This world is on fire. There is a breakdown in the family, a breakdown in the culture and yes, there’s even a breakdown in the effectiveness of the church. This breakdown has a massive effect on this coming generation. The church can no longer sleep through the alarm, it’s time to rise up and bring the Gospel to this lost and dying world. In part 3 of our series, Broken to Breakthrough, Pastor Keith teaches how all choices effect outcomes and the responsibility of the church to rise up and speak God’s word. It‘s time for truth, not preference, so that those being raised up can hear God for their generation!
Real life-change happens within relationships. However, brokenness can also happen within the context of relationships. To break free from any relationship that involves brokenness, we must know the love of God! The Bible tells us that God is love, so love is a person, not a feeling or emotion. If we base love on a feeling, then problems happen when feelings change, becasue then you stop loving. Love must not be responsive or subjective...it must be unconditional. We were never meant to live broken. No matter how many songs try to tell us this, it’s just not true. Do you ever find yourself in a place looking for all the right answers and fulfillment from another person just to find your expectations unmet? You’re not alone! Everyone in every relationship has pre-existing conditions. The key is understanding this. In part one of our series, Broken to Breakthrough, Pastor Keith teaches about two false assumptions that can cripple our relationships: The False Assumption of Blame and the False Assumption of Expectations.
Every human being has one common need: SIGNIFICANCE. Everyone wants to be accepted and loved, but at what cost? Are you just surviving? Are you living a lifestyle you know God says is sinful? Are you living your life with purpose? It’s time to search for significance to build the foundations of your heart. Join us in part 5 of our series, BACK2LIFE, as Pastor Keith teaches about the difference between survival, success and significance.
When we go through adversity, sometimes we can forget that whatever the enemy has taken from us can be restored. Reading the Word of God is one of the most powerful things we can do, and resting in what the Word says can bring about that restoration. Shame is a weight that stops us from moving ahead, but God’s restoration means we do not have to be ashamed. The primary thing the devil tries to do with the church is to shame everyone. But whatever the circumstances, it is God’s will to restore.
